The new Approved Release A.01.46 of [ COMPROTware:Testtool ] is ready.

The protocols IEC 61850, MODBUS TCP/IP and Landis&Gyr TG 809 are newly added. There is a long list of improvements and enhancement in all areas.

We recommend all customers to change to this Approved Release.

In international business a short company name makes life easier. After the German requirements for a company name were reduced in the last years now we simplified our company name for our customers and us to:

This development snapshot of [ COMPROTware:Testtool ] needs to be specially mentioned because with this version the protocol IEC 61850 becomes available to the users.

Currently everyone talks about IEC 61850 because it should become THE common transmission protocol for station automation worldwide. Therefore we implemented monitoring in COMPROTware:Testtool so that our customers can not only talk but also look inside the protocol.

We implemented IEC 61850-8-1 with mapping of the object modell to MMS (Manufacturing Message Specification) and GOOSE (Generic Object Oriented Substation Event) in CPTT.

The Approved Release A.01.44.c of [ COMPROTware:Testtool ] with some corrections and enhancements compared to CPTT A.01.44 is ready.
In the last four weeks we corrected some bugs found in the last version A.01.44. Meanwhile the new feature Create Message List from Message Storage and the support for new DNP3 reserved addresse were added.

We recommend all customers to change to this Approved Release.
