Completato un altro passo per rendere internazionale CPTT: l´interfaccia utente è ora tradotta in italiano. Abbiamo molti clienti in Italia. Siamo sicuri che la traduzione in italiano renderà loro più facile e confortevole luso dello strumento. Con laggiunta della nuova traduzione, ci sono ora quattro linguaggi disponibili: inglese, spagnolo, italiano e tedesco. Quale sarà il prossimo?

Here comes the next step of the internationalization of CPTT: The User Interface is translated to the Italian language. A lot of our customers are from Italy. With the Italian translation we are sure that we will make our tool more comfortable and easy to use form them. With the new translation added there are now four language available: English, spanish, Italian and German. What should come next?

The development work on CPTT was very fruitful in the last weeks. The main focus of the enhancements was the Message View Filtering and Export to file. The implementation of both points got substantial extensions. The new Approved Release A.01.42 of [ COMPROTware:Testtool ] is ready.
There is a long list of improvements and enhancement, mainly in the handling of CPTT, in the internationalization and in customer support. Message Filtering was extended and the protocol implementation were maintained.

We recommend all customers to change to this Approved Release.

Esta versión del estado actual de desarrollo constituye para nosotros un gran paso hacia la internacionalización de CPTT. Ahora nuestra interfaz gráfica "habla" además de inglés, español y Alemán.

A pesar de que la funcionalidad básica para la internacionalización de CPTT fue desarrollada hace algunos años, la capacidad de agregar y mantener otros idiomas no era lo suficientemente eficiente. Gracias a un rediseño hemos superado este obstáculo y podemos ahora ofrecer a nuestros usuarios hispano-hablantes una nueva interfaz gráfica en español.

Dieser Entwicklungsschnappschuss stellt für uns einen großen Schritt zur weiteren Internationalisierung von CPTT dar: Die Bedienoberfläche "spricht" nun zusätzlich zu Englisch auch spanisch und Deutsch.

Die Basisfunktionalität für die Internationalisierung von CPTT ist schon seit Jahren realisiert, das Hinzufügen und Pflegen weiterer Sprachen war jedoch bisher nicht ausreichend effizient genug möglich. Durch ein Redesign ist diese Hürde jetzt genommen und damit können wir unseren deutschen Anwendern nun auch eine deutsche Bedienoberfläche anbieten.

The new development snapshot T.01.39.o of [ COMPROTware:Testtool ] is ready! It is the last release candidate before the new Approved Release A.01.40 will be published.

We did many changes to the DNP3 implementation, to the GUI and to general parts. Also a new feature is implemented: Remote I/O Client/Server. This feature allows to display protocol traffic captured on a remote MS Windows/Linux/UNIX machine on your MS Windows desktop.

The new Approved Release A.01.38.b of [ COMPROTware:Testtool ] is ready. In the last 2 weeks since the publication of development snapshot X.01.37.f some minor problems have been solved.

We recommend all customers to change to this Approved Release.

Today we published the new development snapshot X.01.37.f of [ COMPROTware:Testtool ]. This development snapshot is the first release candidate for the Approved Release A.01.38. It is already very close to the Approved Release.

The main changes are the support of all modem signals and the interactive edit windows for DNP3-1999-, MODBUS- and ABB RP57x-messages. Moreover many user suggestions are included in the software.

Release A.01.36.d of COMPROTware:Testtool is now available. Among of some minor corrections the following changes are new:
DNP3-1999 over LAN/WAN with simulation of master/slave station and Network Monitoring is implemented.
New MODBUS parameter "Auto. gen. Response": Missing responses are automatically generated.

Warning message if Message Log file is too large for reading and was truncated.

The new Approved Release A.01.36 of COMPROTware:Testtool is ready. In the last 6 weeks since the publication of development snapshot X.01.35.f many minor problems have been solved and the installation manual has been updated for MS Windows 2000 and MS Windows XP installations.
We recommend all customers to change to this Approved Release.

We will start immediately with development for future releases: CPTT A.01.36 is the last release which is running on Java Runtime Environment 1.1.x. To improve the Graphical User Interface (e.g. file selection dialog, window size, tabular print outs, message editing, ...) it is necessary to switch to Java2 Standard Edition for all upcoming releases.
Other major tasks in the new release are the improvement of message editing (esp. for DNP3-1999) and the implementation of a new concept for automation of protocol testing.

The last planed development snapshot X.01.45.f before the new Approved Release A.01.36 of COMPROTware:Testtool is ready.
The most interesting news are: CPTT is now available for all Microsoft Windows versions: From MS Windows 95, 98, 98SE and ME through MS Windows NT4 up to MS Windows 2000 and MS Windows XP. With this Network Monitoring for TCP/IP based protocols can now also be used with MS Windows 2000 and MS Windows XP.

And the evaluation of "dongle towers" with several dongles containing different licenses is now running correctly on all platforms.

On August, 20th we shipped our new Approved Release A.01.34 of COMPROTware:Testtool. After more than half a year of development time we can now offer an extended and enhanced Release to our customers. A big amout of development time was used for the reliable and robust implementation of Communication Gap Supervision: With this feature it is possible to recognise communication gaps (as far as this is possible with MS Windows). At the same time the implementation was maintained and enhanced.
